Dorset RAYNET - Assistance Required
Dorset RAYNET is urgently seeking additional licensed operators for
IRONMAN 2006 on Sunday 20th August.
The event is based at Sherborne Castle in Dorset and will see 1500 international
competitors taking part in a 2 mile Swim, 112 mile Bike Race and a Full
Marathon in the same day.
IRONMAN is extensively covered by Channel 4 television and is the largest
event of its type in the country.
The user service, Dorset Police have requested extra operators at key
locations on the Bike Race and Marathon course and any additional operators
will be welcome.
Weekend camping is available at No Charge at the official Raynet camp
site from Friday to Monday with the annual barbeque on Saturday evening
for all operators and helpers.
