Amateur Radio Gifts announce new lines for ham radio communityIn a recent press release, Amateur Radio Gifts announced that they have added a new line of items for the Ham Radio Community. They say that these gifts are for the individual amateur radio operator, unlike the previous gifts that were mainly advertised for a group of radio operators like clubs that were sponsoring a hamfest. A new item that is on the Web Site is Western Type Belt Buckles with your call sign, and when you change your sign, the middle of the buckle can be replaced (by you) with the new call sign. Belt Buckles with your call sign engraved are also in the new release of the Web Site. Other items that are included on the Web Site are personalized coffee mugs, mouse pads, 24 hour clock, call sign tags and lighters. All of these items have the amateur radio operator antenna tower and globe with your call sign on them. At a later date you can order the items with your club affiliations or organizations that you belong to such as ARES. Also at that time a well defined personal picture or logo can be used on the items instead of the tower and globe at a small cost. The existing items that are for groups still have the amateur radio postage stamp that was issued in 1964. This stamp can be used on all of the group items except the Tee Shirt which we are not licensed for. The group items that the stamp (replica) can be used on are coffee mugs, paperweights, key rings and magnetic reminders. Dave Glass, KS4LI says there is still a problem with
shipping of individual items on check out. All of the group items (coffee mugs, paperweights, and t-shirts) are
to advertise your upcoming functions (hamfests, DXpeditions) or your current
meeting place and time. All of these items may be seen at http://www.amateurradiogifts.com/
