Island Games Special Event station

A group of Rhodian Radio Amateurs will activate the special callsign SX5RHO between now and July 7th.

Activity is to celebrate '2007 Island Games' on the Island of Rhodes (see the Web site - http://www.rhodes2007.info).

Rhodes Island (EU-001) is very proud to host the '2007 Island Games', which will have the largest participation of island countries and athletes in the history of the institution.

Activity of the special callsign will take place daily on
all bands (HF160-10m, 6m, 2m) and on all modes (SSB, CW, RTTY, PSK31, possibly some SSTV and JT65).

Anyone who contacts SX5RHO does not need to send them a QSL card. All contacts will be automatically confirmed via the bureau, and after the end of operations the logs will be uploaded into the LoTW.
