JAMSAT donates 1 million Yen to P3E satellite

Jeff, KE9V has spotted a news item on the AMSAT-DL website regarding a recent donation to the Amateur Radio P3E satellite by the Japanese JAMSAT organisation

Peter Gülzow, DB2OS reports on the DL web site that JAMSAT (Japan) has made a generation donation of 1,000,000JPY (7500.00 euro) in support of the AMSAT P3-E satellite project.

He went on to say that Mikio Mouri, president of JAMSAT is working on the structure of a command station for P3-E in Japan. There is close cooperation with the University for communications technology and the radio observatory in Sugadaira/Nagano to re-equip their 4m parabolic antenna for command use with P3-E in the 23cm and 13cm-Band.
