BBC report - Phone mast allergy 'in the mind'

The BBC have reported that a major UK study says mobile phone masts are not responsible for the symptoms of ill health some blame them for.

The study reports that dozens of people who believed the masts trigger symptoms such as anxiety, nausea and tiredness were unable to detect if signals were on or off.
But when they believed the signal was on they reported more distress - indicating a psychological problem.

Dr James Rubin, of the Mobile Phone Research Unit, King's College London, said the findings were in line with those from most other previous experiments.
