GB7HQ in the IARU World HF ChampionshipA UK-wide national team will operate the RSGB head-quarters station GB7HQ in the IARU World HF Championship next weekend on 12 and 13 July. The event starts at 1200GMT on Saturday and ends 1200GMT on Sunday. The object of the contest is to contact as many radio amateurs as possible, especially other IARU HQ teams, on 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10m. SSB and CW will be used. The GB7HQ team are looking for as much support as possible from UK radio amateurs, so are encouraging calls on as many band and mode combinations as possible.
