Amsat-UK to host IARU Satellite Forum 2008

AMSAT-UK is hosting the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) Satellite Forum 2008 that will be held as part of the International Space Colloquium at the University of Surrey.

The IARU Satellite Adviser Hans van de Groenendaal ZS6AKV will chair the
forum that is sure to prove popular with those attending the Colloquium.

The forum will be attended by the RSGB Microwave Manager Murray Niman G6JYB who will be available for questions on the papers relating to Amateur Satellite operation being presented by the RSGB to the IARU Region 1 conference at Cavtat in November.

The 23rd AMSAT-UK Colloquium will be held at the University of Surrey, Guildford from Friday 25th until Sunday 27th July.

The Colloquium is open to all. New for 2008, it has been arranged with the University for "walkin" day delegates for £10 per day. For this, you do not get any meals, only attendance at lectures/beginners sessions. It does not entitle you to any other of the functions. There is no need to book, just turn up on the day.
