Rob Mannion on BBC Radio 4's 'PM' programme

Practical Wireless editor Rob Mannion, G3XFD, has appeared on Tuesday's edition of BBC Radio 4's news and current affairs programme 'PM'.

The item, by PM reporter Yvonne Murray, was looking at the 100-year anniversary of SOS - the international morse code distress signal.

Rob's appearance comes approximately 54 minutes into the hour-long programme.

Hopefully, the programme will be available for a few days yet.

• The Southgate Amateur Radio Club were pleased to have played their part in the production of this item. Reporter Yvonne Murray contacted the club earlier in the day seeking technical help for the story.

It is not the first time that we have been contacted by media organisations seeking help with research on radio-related items. In the past, several film and television production companies have also contacted us looking for help or advice.

We're always happy to help..
