Amateur Radio stories in The Times and Hansard

Ian, G3ZHI has this very useful tip for finding old, but very interesting ham radio stories from the past.

Ian says "Go to the Times archive and type in the phrase 'ham radio' or 'amateur radio'.

"It throws-up some rather interesting stories from the 50's and 60's, like the 'RAF spy Douglas Britten' who was a ham and 'The Bank Job' etc, also a 'ham radio cover for spies' story"

You'll need to register on the site to read the stories, but registration is simple and free. To give it a try, go to:

Ian adds "You can also search for 'amateur radio' in Hansard.
Use the exact phrase option and tick 'all years'. It brings back 54 hits!"
