AMSAT UK Colloquium live video stream

On the 25th and 26th of July, starting at 10am local time, batc.tv will be streaming the lecture programme from the AMSAT UK Colloquium in Guilford

This is a very popular event and attracts some very interesting speakers, for more details see http://www.uk.amsat.org/

Some of the streamer viewers (www.batc.tv) have been experiencing problems with the streamer chat in that the text has been appearing as black text on a black background.

The problem appears to be due to the way Internet explorer interprets colours. This has not been a problem with any other internet browsers.

The streamer software has had some changes made that hopefully will enable better compatibility with Internet explorer and overcome this problem. Please if you are still experiencing this problem, let me know:

Can I also remind you when using the streamer to log in so we all know who we are talking to, if you do not have a log in then  /nick “your name” will change your guest log in to your name.

In the next issue of CQ-TV I will be reviewing 'Thang' a free software package that enables you to create programmes for the streamer in a single package and upload them to the film archive section of the site via the onsite menu that you will see when you use your members Login
