Broadband satellite jumps rocket

BBC News reports that UK company Avanti Communications have changed launch provider for their HYLAS broadband satellite from SpaceX to Arianespace

HYLAS (Highly Adaptable Satellite) aims to provide broadband net connections to rural communities and was due to fly on a SpaceX Falcon 9 during 2010.

Avanti recently raised £31.5 million from the issue of new shares to fund the change in launch service provider for its HYLAS satellite to the more expensive Arianespace.
