Rare state/grids on the birds

OPDX Webmaster John, K8YSE will be active from Delaware, FM29, and possibly other Delaware grids until July 12th.

Operations will be limited to the FM birds AO27, SO50 and AO51. He will look for a location that can see the western horizon and hopes to work those that did not work ND9M/P a few weeks ago.

Equipment is a Kenwood TM-V7A mobile and an Arrow 146/437-10. QSL via K8YSE.

John's son, Doug, KD8CAO, was active from EN86, Drummond Island, MI, during the past few days. He worked 17 stations on a AO51 pass at 2240z, July 7th. He was also active from EN86 on July 8th, which is a very rare grid.

Doug is using his TH-D7AG and the Arrow antenna on the FM birds and a TS2000 with doppler control for the SSB birds.
