Ray Oliver’s 'Sail Round the UK' for charity

Ray Oliver, G3NDS, set sail in April 2008 on one of the biggest challenges of his life, a 2-year sail round the UK (visiting Ireland) in his yacht Christine-Marie.

IRTS reports that Ray is now on his homeward passage and currently at Howth Marina until 1 August when he will sail to Cork, then back to the UK via the Isles of Scilly, Falmouth and back to
my home port of Lymington by September.

Ray says it has been a great adventure so far, and has
sailed over 2300M and visited over 80 harbours and ports on passage. During his passage he has operated /MM from his yacht and has had support from many amateurs, including many Irish stations.

So far he has operated /MM with prefix G, GM, GI, GD and will be operating EI/G3NDS/MM from Howth and on passage down to Cork when possible to do so .

Ray would like to thanks everyone for the contacts and support and his adventure can be followed on his website
www.roundukcruise.org.uk

We would like to wish Ray a safe journey
