Trainee astronaut to talk to Colloquium

Dr Andreas Mogensen, recently selected as one of the new ESA Astronaut corps, will be giving a presentation at the AMSAT-UK Colloquium on Saturday.

His presentation will take place at 1015 BST (0915 GMT) on Saturday July 25.

He will briefly cover the history of the ESA astronaut corps and the steps that he went through in the year-long selection process.

The AMSAT-UK Colloquium takes place this Saturday and Sunday July 25/26 at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Guildford, England and will be webcast.

The event is open to all Radio Amateurs and SWL's and starts at 1000 BST (0900 GMT) Saturday. The presentations will be webcast live on the British Amateur Television Club (BATC) site at http://www.batc.tv/ (select Live Events then AMSAT)
