Essex Special Event Station GB0IS

The Loughton and Epping Forest Amateur Radio Society (LEFARS) will be operating GB0IS from the Theydon Bois Donkey Derby on Sunday, July 4.

They will be setting-up on-site on Sunday morning at around 09:00 and will be QRV on 2m FM, from around 10:00 until 16:00.

LEFARS are an active club with about 100 members and run a number of special event stations to demonstrate Amateur Radio to the general public.

The club hold exams for the Amateur Radio Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced.
