Video preview of Uniden's revolutionary no-programming 'HomePatrol' scanner

Readers of Popular Communications magazine will need to wait until their September issue arrives in order to be introduced to Uniden's revolutionary no-programming 'HomePatrol' scanner (a full review will be in the October issue), but visitors to the the Pop'Comm website
(www.popular-communications.com) can immediately be 'in the know' thanks to a video preview of the unit currently posted there.

Produced by "Civil Aviation Monitoring" columnist Tom Swisher, who is also writing the "First Look" and "Tech Showcase" features on the scanner for the magazine, the video's availability on Pop’Comm’s website is exciting news for communications enthusiasts.
 
The video preview feature is the latest enhancement to Pop'Comm's newly updated website, according to Editor Edith Lennon, N2ZRW, who says she hopes to include an audio or video clip related to the magazine's content on a regular basis, as well as live links drawn from the editorial material presented each month.
 
Posted along with the video preview are highlights of the August issue, which features articles on operating single-sideband CB, building an inexpensive shortwave converter, and a review of the AOR AR-2300 black box receiver.
