AO, AM, AN: Spain Soccer World Champions

The joy of a whole country will be also transmitted by radio hams through the airwaves until July 31th.

The Spanish PTT has authorized all radio amateurs to use these special prefixes (AO, AM, AN) until then, at the request of EA Digital Federation.

It comes to recognize the effort of these dedicated sportsmen, its team work and fair play, beyond winners and losers.

So, don't be surprised to see these prefixes populate our bands and feel free to contact these callsigns - happy hams are behind them.
