Gippsland Gates Hamfest

GippsTech 2005 is approaching rapidly!
Only weeks until the annual Gippsland Technical Conference - GippsTech 2005.

Held on the weekend of July 9 and 10, this conference focuses primarily on topics of interest to weak-signal operators on the VHF, UHF and microwave bands. Held at the Monash University Gippsland Campus at Churchill in the Latrobe Valley, the event makes good use of the excellent facilities available.

The event begins with an informal dinner get-together on Friday evening. Saturday morning is the formal start of events. Partners are kept busy as well, with Pauline Corrigan having some interesting activities planned. Saturday night sees most amateurs and their partner at the
Morwell Club for the Conference Dinner. Activities continue on Sunday, usually finishing in the early afternoon.

If you are planning on attending, please register now via the on-line registration form available at the Eastern Zone ARC website:
http://www.qsl.net/vk3bez/
The organising committee needs numbers for catering one week before the event.

Further details can also be found on the club website.
A draft program should be posted soon.
