'Dynamic Duo' promoting amateur radio

For the past 2 years, Graeme VK6BSL with the help of Kathie VK6TKS, have been promoting Amateur Radio and Electronics Hobbies in Public Libraries all over the Perth Metro area.

Display boards, Foxhole Xtal set from the 1940s, a Xtal set with an "S" meter, Morse key with Oscillator and a one watt transmitter built in to a "Milo " tin.

They also display basic parts and their prices, and for beginners plenty of explanatory show cards, QSL cards and descriptions of the many facets of amateur radio including Homebrewing, Satellite working, Echolink, etc, etc.

Graeme and Kathie have plenty of hand outs.

The ISS has proven a hit, with many of all ages not even being aware of it!

Now the good news! VK6BSL and VK6TKS want to get the display to the country regions, and it's easy! All you need do is email VK6BSL@aol.com or write care of call book address!

Well done Kathie and Graeme.
