South African PSK contest

On Sunday 26 June 2005, the Lichtenberg ARC will host the first Southern African PSK Contest.

The contest is open to all radio amateurs in the Southern African region and will run from 13:00 UTC until 16:00 UTC with PSK activity on 80, 40 and 20 metres.

There are two categories, single operator, all band, high power (21 to 100 watts) and single operator, all band, low power (20 watts or less). The exchange is RST and a serial number. Contacts with a station in the same call area counts 1 point, contacts with a station in a different call area counts 3 points and a DX contact counts 0.5 points.

Log sheets must be submitted within 14 days after the contest and can be sent by snail mail to LARC, PO Box 410, Lichtenberg, 2740
