The Smallwood TrophyFor over forty years, the Society of Newfoundland Radio Amateurs (SONRA) has been the custodian and administrator of the Smallwood Trophy, which is awarded to the top-scoring Newfoundland and Labrador entrant in ARRL Field Day (FD) each year. The original Smallwood Trophy has served us well for forty years, but it has seen better days. A new trophy has been built to replace the original and will be on permanent public display, with a memorial plaque provided to each year's winner annually starting in 2005 Source: Radio Amateurs of Canada |
