Amateur radio club gets 24 firemen 'on-the-air'After a marathon amateur radio exam session sponsored by the Palms West Amateur Radio Club in the USA, 24 Palm Beach County fire-fighters have earned their ham radio licenses. The Palm Beach County Fire Department will be installing amateur radio equipment for back up communications in all fire-rescue stations and will now have its own operators to operate them.
