Special Event Station GB0BMS - Ballymoney Mayor's Show

This Saturday, 24th June, the Marconi Radio Group will be running an Amateur Radio Special Event Station from Ballymoney as part of the Ballymoney Mayor's Show using the callsign GB0BMS.

They will be working on the 20m, 40m and 80m bands so if you hear GB0BMS be sure to give them a shout.

All contacts will receive a QSL card to confirm the contact.

The Marconi Radio Group was formed to celebrate the early wireless signals made by Guglielmo Marconi.

A historic link was made on July 6th 1898 when experimental transmissions were made between the east lighthouse on Rathlin Island and the ' White Lodge ' house situated at the harbour in Ballycastle.
