TRT denies it has banned Winnie the PoohTurkish national broadcaster TRT has denied that it has decided to scrap Winnie the Pooh from its schedule, as reported yesterday. According to TRT, it has signed an exclusive rights deal to show Walt Disney material, but some of the material has not yet arrived. TRT says it plans to resume showing Winnie the Pooh in the near future, and denies that the idea of omitting Piglet was ever discussed. In fact, the series has already been shown on other channels in Turkey, and is also available on DVD.
