RSGB Repeater Management Committee minutes now available

The minutes from the January 2007 RSGB Repeater Manangement Committee (RMC) meeting are now available on the web. http://www.ukrepeater.net/documents/mins0701.pdf

Key items in the minutes are:

• The tightening of restrictions on Voice Announcements

• The 'Keyfob' clearances now needed for 70cms applications
as mentioned in a recent RSGB input to Ofcom on licence-exempt devices

• New repeater abuse reporting procedures

• References to the recent merger of the DCC and RMC

The RMC and DCC merged to form the Emerging Technology Co-ordination Committee.
