KL7DX Aleutian Islands DXpedition
New one IOTA NA-234

A Group of radio hams from Russia and USA plan to activate a new one, IOTA NA-234 (Islands of Four Mountains Group) Chuginadak Island, July 21-July 27th, 2008.

The Island located about 200 nm SE from Dutch Harbor, AK, next to active volcano.

Plan is to operate all HF bands and 6 meters.
Equipment: Icom 756PROIII qty 2, antennas: Spiderbeam 3el 15/20 and 4 el for 10m, Steppir BigIR vertical, and G5RV. PA: ALS600S.

As of now, confirmed members of Dxpedition are:
Yuri UA9OBA, Victor RU4SU, Sergey RA3NAN and Yuri N3QQ.

After DXpedition plan is to attend Alaska Hamfest LINK July 30th-August 4th (once in 27 years event!)

We have an extra spot on the boat for another ham!
