Amateur radio from heritage sites

Castles and Stately Homes on the Air was formed in 2005, this provides a fascinating heritage activity with more than local interest.

The British Isles abounds with castles, forts and fortifications as well as great houses and priories, parks, lodges, manor houses, etc.

Some of these will certainly be found near you. Even the remains of sites are accepted as venues, provided the site is historically recognised.

Get in touch for a registration number for the site you wish to use.

For more info, go to www.cashota.org and click on your country’s flag.
