LEFARS on-air for IMW

The Loughton and District Amateur Radio Society (LEFARS) will be operating Special Event Station GB2NWA next weekend, 21st/22nd June as participants in the International Museums Weekend event. As it did last year, IMW 2008 coincides with the annual Air-Britain Fly-In at North Weald Airfield.

As far as operating is concerned, we always aim to work as many UK and local European stations as possible during this type of event, so we hope to be QRV on 40m/80m SSB / CW, but depending on prevailing conditions over the weekend we may be forced to move to the higher bands. We will also be QRV on 2m FM.
