GB3UK to be operational this weekend

The Gloucestershire Repeater Group are expecting to complete the installation of their latest Amateur Radio voice repeater GB3UK on Saturday 21st June.

GB3UK is a new wide-spaced 70cm Voice Repeater, which will be located on Cleeve Common North-East of Cheltenham (IO81XW), it is expected to provide coverage from Swindon and Cirencester in the south to Evesham, Stratford-on-Avon and the outskirts of Coventry to the north.

The Repeater will use the following:

Channel:  RU69
Output Freq: 430.8625 MHz
Input Freq: 438.4625 MHz
CTCSS:  118.8 Hz ('J')

The group are also hoping to be able re-install the now re-furbished GB3CCX 10GHz beacon.
