Jan Mayen DXpedition

Michael, G7VJR, will be departing for Iceland on June 24th, where he will be catching a ride on a 60 ft sailing boat with
the adventure company, Eco-Expeditions, to Jan Mayen.

He is expected to be active as JX/G7VJR for approximately 6.5 days between June 25th and July 6th.

He plans to be active as much as possible, especially on CW, using lightweight antennas and a K2/100 radio. Activity will be on 40-6 meters.

Also on the trip will be Wojtek, SQ4MP. Wojtek will sign JX/SQ4MP and will be active on CW/SSB and a small amount of RTTY. QSL both callsigns via G7VJR, direct or by the Bureau.
