Maidstone YMCA Amateur Radio Society Junk Sale

The biggest event on the Horizon is the impending Junk Sale. To be held at the Society QTH (The YMCA Outstation, Barfreston Close, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 6FG) on Friday, 6th June 2008.

Put it on your calendars; bring your money, bring your junk, and bring yourself.

There will be a few items from Silent Keys, the usual high calibre items from the local fraternity, plus all the unique oddities that turn up at these junk sales.

All business to be conducted under the watchful eye of auctioneer Chris G6HTH.

It's a good fun evening, and definitely part of the Maidstone YMCA Amateur Radio Society's folklore!

Please come along to it and see what bargains there are to be had - the Junk Sales are possibly the primary source of funding for the club.

If you have any, please bring some 'junk' for others to benefit from; that half-constructed project that's never been quite completed, or the old electrical thingamabob under your bench that was given to you by so-and-so years ago that's never had it's full potential realised, or perhaps that box of mysterious components gathering dust in an old cupboard...
