New Portuguese 70 MHz Beacon CS5BFMA new 4 metre beacon CS5BFM in Portugal will operate on 70.166 MHz. Sílvio Leiria, CT1BPT, Board Director of A.R.R. - Associação de Radioamadores do Ribatejo, a central of Portugal ham radio association, has announced at the Portuguese ARLA/CLUSTER Internet mailing list a new beacon to 70 Mhz, in the same conditions of the previous ex-CQ5FOUR and located at same place. The technical projects, as well as the licensing process for the beacon, according with the new Portuguese legislation, have been approved officially by ICP-ANACOM (Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações), the Portuguese Administration of Telecommunications.
