Pacific Northwest DX Convention

This year's Pacific Northwest DX Convention will be held between August 1-3rd, in Portland, Oregon, by the Willamette Valley DX Club.

The event might be of particular interest to the contest
community.

Speakers will include well-known West Coast contesters. Tom, K5RC/W7RN, 2007 CQ Contest Hall of Fame inductee, will be the Saturday banquet speaker. His presentation "Building Your Dream Station Without a Divorce" will be as useful as it will be entertaining.

Also, Ward, N0AX, in his presentation plans to address the hot topic in contesting from ARRL's perspective, you guessed it - skimmer.
