Positive Results From DRM+ Tests on Band 2

The results of tests of DRM+ in the 88-108 MHz band are available.

DRM+ is the Digital Radio standard that may eventually replace FM in the 88-108 MHz band. Adoption of this standard instead of FM would permit a substantial increase in the number of station available to the public, up to 3 or 4 times the current number.

The tests were carried out from March to May 2008 by the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern on 87.6 MHz.

The report on the test is available at http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2F
