UEFA’s International Broadcast Centre opens in Vienna

The International Broadcast Centre (IBC) in Vienna has officially opened, on an important day for UEFA in the history of football broadcasting.

For the first time in EURO history, UEFA will produce the television signal for the tournament itself through UEFA Media Technologies SA, a 100 per cent owned subsidiary of UEFA which is in charge of Host Broadcast Operations at UEFA EURO 2008™. 

The IBC will serve as the international nerve centre of Host Broadcast Operations.
