DXAnywhereIs that elusive P5 still elusive? Hopefully DXAnywhere.com has a number of features (some unique) to help you. To start with there is a web based DX Cluster, which is broken into separate bands, we keep a history of calls and when they were spotted. There are also some snazzy charts for cluster and solar activity. Recent calls are automatically plotted on a Google Map in real-time. You can be notified of specific calls or use a wildcard (eg P5%). The alerts can be sent via Email, Twitter direct message or SMS (only £6 for 100 alerts) to your mobile phone anywhere in the world within minutes of it being spotted. There are some applications that you can use on the site too, these include Prefix guide, just input the callsign we'll tell you everything you need to know plus show you it on a map. Next is a mobile log book which is really for using via our mobile website (you can access it by just visiting DXAnywhere.com on any mobile device) allowing you to store QSOs you make on the move, then once you get back to your desk download the ADIF file from the main website. We're also putting together a contest calendar. Twitter is used by DXAnywhere to post hourly most spotted band (worldwide), propagation information (from NOAA) which is updated every 3 hours, plus we even send out contest reminders every Wednesday. We've also created a profile section where you can build up a profile about yourself and amateur radio interests, twitter messages, flickr photos, and if your friends are members you can connect with each other and share comments. We're no Facebook but great to see information about people! You can access the website and mobile version just by heading to http://www.dxanywhere.com go on, check it out!
Disclaimer:- The features on DXAnywhere are likely to change, usually for the better, but we can't be sure every feature will work all the time.
