GB2NWA North Weald Airfield
20/21 June

As part of the annual International Museums Weekend, the Loughton & Epping Forest Amateur Radio Society (LEFARS) will be running Special Event Station GB2NWA from North Weald Airfield in Essex.

During the weekend the Air Britain Fly-In will be taking place at the airfield which hosts a wide and varied range of aircraft, with much activity centered around the Squadron, with its historic atmosphere and period buildings.

The airfield museum is based in the former station office, outside which, is a memorial to all those who gave their lives while based at North Weald.

GB2NWA will be active on Saturday and Sunday 20/21 June using HF SSB and 2 metres FM (also 4m & 70cm FM from time-to-time)
