Ofcom - 275-3000 GHz licence-exempt statement

The UK regulator Ofcom has published a statement on making spectrum in the 275-3000GHz band (excluding bands listed under Footnote 5.565 of the Radio Regulations) licence-exempt.

Spectrum listed under Footnote 5.565 is used by the scientific community while other parts of the 275-3000 GHz band are suitable for short range devices. This policy decision will not be implemented until after the 2011 World Radiocommunication Conference.
