RAYNET involvement in 2 Signal Brigade table-top exercise

RAYNET has recently been involved in an extensive table-top exercise with 2 Signal Brigade which took place over a complete weekend at the end of May.

It continued to demonstrate the ease with which RAYNET and 2 Signal Brigade can inter-operate in an emergency.

This kind of activity requires frequent and extensive liaison between RAYNET, 2 Signal Brigade and the Cabinet Office
Civil Contingencies Secretariat, and thanks go to all the members who made this event a success.

RAYNET liaison officers attended to provide input to the planning of the exercise scenario and also responded to requests for assistance in order to meet the exercise objectives.

This is the latest in a series of activities which have had RAYNET involvement over the past five years, ensuring the
inter-operability between the two organisations.
