Une belle opportunité pour les clubs de démontrer ce qu’est l’APRS, puisque le ballon en est bien équipé et pourra etre suivi tout le long de son envolée

Ce ballon transportera une répétitrice radioamateur de type “crossband VHF-UHF”. Il est prévu que cette répétitrice aura une très grande  portée et nous espérons que plusieurs souhaiteront profiter de cette  occasion pour se faire entendre via le ballon.

Le fréquence d’entrée est 145.560 Hhz avec une tonalité de 103.5 Hz;  et la fréquence de sortie est 445.525 Mhz. La puissance d’émission  sera d’environ 1.5 watts.

Gerry VE2AW animera en français et en anglais le réseau BRAQ; on demande aux stations qui participeront d’utiliser l’alphabet phonétique international pour s’identifier; on vous demandera ensuite votre prénom ainsi que d’identifier votre emplacement (QTH). Une carte QSL commémorative sera acheminée pour tout contact radio qui sera confirmé par l’animateur (Gerry).

  A great opportunity to demonstrate what is APRS, as the balloon is well equipped and could be followed during his flight.

The main payload will consist in a VHF-UHF crossband repeater available to the amateur community while airborne.

The repeater input frequency is 145.560 Mhz with a tone of 103.5 Hz and the output frequency is 445.525 Mhz. The power output of the repeater should be around 1.5 watts.

This will be a bilingual (French and English) directed net and net control with be Gerry VE2AW. Check-ins are invited to use the  phonetic alphabet and then will be required to provide their nickname  and location (QTH).
A commemorative QSL card will be issued to all stations which are confirmed by the net control station.
