Southern CA satellite presentations

AMSAT area coordinator Clint Bradford, K6LCS, will be presenting his 'Working Amateur Satellites With Your HT' multimedia session at the June 18, 2010 meeting of the Orange County Amateur Radio Association, and also on July 8, 2010, at the Riverside County Amateur Radio Association.

"I am looking forward to speaking to these clubs," Clint writes. "OCARA is one of the Southern California region's oldest amateur radio clubs - with over 70 years of history. And the Riverside club is literally in my own back yard - don't know how we haven't hooked up before this!"

ALL are welcome to attend these sessions! There are tentative workable satellite passes before both of these meetings. Contact Clint (info below) for more details.

The Orange County club meets at the American Red Cross, George M. Chitty Building, 600 Parkcenter Drive, Santa Ana CA 92705, and starts at 7PM.

The Riverside club meeting starts at 7:15PM at the La Sierra University Church, 4937 Sierra Vista Ave (at Pierce St), Riverside CA 92505.
