GB3LW back on the air

After a period of inactivity, the London amateur radio UHF repeater GB3LW on 433.150 MHz has recently been reactivated.

The repeater gives solid coverage of Central London from its river side site on the London Studios.

A series of technical issues have been overcome with new RF hardware although the Meridian Repeater Group is hoping to make some further changes to the logic in the coming weeks which may take the repeater off-air for short periods.

The keepers look forward to welcoming any visitors to London who choose to pack a handheld radio into their suitcase alongside old friends on the repeater.
