Icelandic Radio Amateurs elect new Executive

The Icelandic national Amateur Radio society, Íslenskir radíóamatörar (IRA), has a new Executive Committee.

Following the 2010 General Assembly of Íslenskir radíóamatörar (IRA) that took place on 22 May 2010 in Reykjavík, the Executive Committee has now had its first meeting and positions for 2010/2011 have been decided as follows:

President: Jónas Bjarnason, TF2JB;
Vice-president: Erling Eiríksson, TF3EE;
Secretary: Sæmundur Þorsteinsson, TF3UA;
Treasurer: Gísli G. Ófeigsson, TF3G;
Member: Sveinn Bragi Sveinsson, TF3SNN;
Deputy members: Jón Ingvar Óskarsson, TF1JI, and Kjartan H. Bjarnason, TF3BJ;
IARU liaison: Kristján Benediktsson, TF3KB.
