President visits Ham Radio satellite station

On Monday, May 31, President Hu Jintao of China visited the Amateur Radio satellite station set up in the China Science and Technology Museum in Beijing.

The visit took place around 10am and several children operated the Amateur Radio satellite HO68 while President Hu Jintao was watching.

He encouraged them in further activities and confirmed the positive effects of amateur satellites.

Radio Amateurs BA1DU, BG1TTA, BA1EO, BG1HOB and BD5RV accompanied the President on his visit.
