Indian amateur satellite due for launch

The first Indian Amateur Satellite is due for launch at the end of April and, it has now been announced that a second Amateur Satellite will also be launched.

The Navhind Times carries this report:

"The space agency will soon launch a 50 kg micro-satellite ‘Anusat’ designed and built by Anna University in Chennai, for amateur communication. It will also carry some technological payloads, including a mems based gyro and
magnetic field sensor."
