Fox on the run

June Fox has been with the Wireless Institute of Australia for something like 15 years, managing the federal office and now the national office, and is known to many of you as the friendly face of the WIA.

I am very sorry to tell you that June now wishes to retire, and so we are looking for someone to take her position.

Currently June works 35 hours a week, and there may be some flexibility as to hours, though June doesn't think anyone could really do the job in less time.

Basically, it is job that covers all the functions of the WIA office, including bookkeeping, banking, and managing the examination, membership and routine mail of the Institute.

Some computer skill is required.

Obviously, being an amateur would be very helpful, but probably not essential.

The office is in Balaclava Road, North Caulfield, and so we are looking for someone in the Melbourne area, ideally reasonably close to the office.

If you are interested, or know someone who could be interested, please contact us through the office, by email at president@wia.org.au or at 0419 320 822.
