Hi-res Palomar Mountain web cam running

A high resolution web camera has been installed at the
home of Paul Williamson, KB5MU, on Palomar Mountain.

The cam looks out one of his windows. Now the public can see rain or snow on the ground (the public is always asking, it seems), and the temperature can be read off an outdoor thermometer.

Click on the small photo for the full resolution view.
If you have a high speed connection, click on "Play with a fancy animation" for the last 24 hours of images presented as a slide show. (The only downside is that a prolonged power outage will cause the cam to zoom-to-da-max and get stuck there until manually reset.)

Overall, the high res camera is a big step forward for
the mountain. Good job Paul!
