G5 QSL cards

Russell G5XW is trying to collect G5, GM5, GI5, GD5, GC5/ GU5, GJ5, GW5.+ 2 & 3 qsl cards, G5AA to G5ZZ 1921 to 1939

G5+3 was used for foreign nationals who passed the RAE or who had a G5+ suitable qualification in their home country which had a reciprocal agreement with the UK.
(1966 to 1980/1?)

G5AAA-G5DZZ Class A (Morse)
G5NAA-G5ZZZ Class B (no Morse)

"To date, I have collected 140, the oldest being 1925 and latest being about 3 months ago. I had a qso with G5BM, an orignal holder" said Russell.

"So, if you happen to have any tucked away anywhere, maybe you could contact me please. They would not go for resale, all to do with the history of my call and history of our hobby".

So, if you can help Russell, please send an email to g5qsl@southgatearc.org and we'll pass on your message
