Suffolk Cub Scout 6er's Day Sat 25th March 'On Air with GB2SRS'

Suffolk Cub 6er's will be having a 'Look at and Try Scouting Activities Day' at Hallowtree Scout Camp-site this coming Saturday.

We, the Suffolk Radio Scouts (aka Ipswich Radio Scouts) will be putting on a Radio Scouting base and will be giving a first 'airing' to GB2SRS Suffolk Radio Scouts/Sixers.

We will try to be on for the Scout Net at 0900 on 3.740 +QRM and will carry on from there. Please give us a call, we intend to work on 80, 40 and 20 or 17 metres depending on conditions.

We will not have email but you can phone/text on 07930 730034 on the day. We will also be on 2 metres SSB and FM.

We expect several of our experienced 2E0/1 Scouts to be with us and supported by some of our new M3s and other Radio Scouts who are not yet licenced. We will probably
be drawing 'power' from our Cub-powered exercise bike in case the mains fails BP.
