Greek Amateurs to be given 4 metre band (70 MHz) allocationReported by Nikiforos - SV1EEX on fourmetres@yahoogroups.com "After many requests from the Greek ham radio community the new national frequency allocation map will be released within the next days. As noted in the webpages of the Greek HamRadio Association (http://www.raag.org/anns_gr.html#ekkzs) the 4m band will be allocated to the Greek hams on an experimental basis (70,200-70,250 MHz)" Murray G6JYB fed the above URL into a translator and got this additional information: After enough years and one big number of letters and representations
of E.E.R. in the responsible departments the YPME, in the next days we
will have new E.MrMrZ.S (National Regulation of Distribution Areas of
frequencies) with New areas: Enlargements old: Removal obligation for co-ordination with YPME: Future cession: 7100-7200 KHz (capital, afterwards 1/4/2009)
